For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6

The new life

I have been crucified with Christ. Gal. 2:20

«It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me,» Paul writes further in the same verse as our text is picked from.
Paul seriously settle up with very much of what is called Christian preaching throughout the ages - and still is today - but is in fact nothing else than religiousness that places Christianity on the same footing as any other religion in the world. - And with that it is no longer Christianity you are dealing with, but only a new variant delusion!
Is it really the Gospel of God, you believe in and lives in accordance with? Ask yourself: Can I - because I have looked into Gods message - say as Paul, that it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me?
Christian life, is that something that you live, is it something that you practise, or is it Christ that lives an practise in you?

«The life which I now live,» that is to say, the existence I now have, and my present activity, is no longer out of faith in myself, my strength, my ability, my intellect, my knowledge etc. - not even supported by God! - No, all of this was crucified with Christ! I now live «by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me!»
It is this blessed faith - in this message - that represents everything now.
Has it really dawn upon your heart, that it is the Son of Gud - no less then Him - who has loved you so, that He gave Himself up for you! - Then it becomes a remarkably force in your life. You are living in Him, you becomes more and more attached to Him and you count on Him in all things.
   - Not so, that one tries to believe as good as one can, but one has now seen that He did not spare anything for your sake. Will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Yes, «for as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.» (2 Cor. 1:20).
