He has reconciled us!

   God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ. 2 Cor. 5:18

   If it only for a moment dawned upon us in its full scale, this we read here, we could not have lived this earthly life anymore, for joy. This luminous clear testimony from the Lords own Word about how He has arranged our case, our relationship with Him. For it is in fact so! - It is He who has sorted it out.
   One should not think so, often, when one sees how depressed we often are, we who are Christians.
   It is difficult for us to hold on to this, we are weak when it comes to the spiritual, and there is so much coming on us in this world, that disturbs and causes that we get more focused on what is here, than what we got with God.
   But in any case this stands firm, exactly because it is something that He has done. And listen again: He has done! - And who does undone what God has done!
   It is written there now too, whatever you feel and think!
   And then the apostle testifies further: «-  and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.»
   This is what the individual whom have seen this, also have got as his task - to testify about Gods reconciliation!
   God has reconciled us with Himself, and He did this by Christ. You have the testimony, you who have seen this! And the clearer you see it, the more urge to share it with others.
   That is why Christ was in this world - to reconcile you with God. That is why it is said to you who read now: «Be reconciled to God!» (2 Cor. 5:20) - if it has not already happen.
   Think of what grace you are witnessing here today - God is reconciled!
