For all the people!

   Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people. Luke 2:10

   You who experiences it like you are sitting captured in a spiritual darkness - properly speaking it is not the case! The light shines for you now! It shines for you in the Word you have in front of you exactly in this moment!
   It is an angel sent from God who preaches for you now, he testifies about Jesus and speaks about Him as a «great joy!»
   You might say: I know that Jesus is a great joy for those who has come to Him, and belongs to Him, but what about me who only sees sin and darkness, and does not manage to tear of the slightest bond that binds me!
   But what did the angel preach? «- a joy for all the people!»
   Those who had it the same way as you have it now, would necessarily also had to be counted in here! - Yes, those too, who was bound by all kinds of sin and bad habits and did not even care about getting loose! All the people!
   Maybe you are seeing the one bond after the other, and thinks: I have to get loose of this if I shall get to Jesus and belong to Him! No, we are seduced this way, and we are seducing ourselves this way, as long as we do not see the light which the Lord let shine for us. It is only one bond, one chain, you have to be freed from, and that is the disbeliefs'!
   Hear the Word today - it is namely no less a person than God Himself who sends it to you: All the people!
   How shall you manage to put yourself outside of that! No, you too are included here.
   He is given to you, as true as God cannot lie. But maybe you haven't got to rejoice at it yet! Then, may this Christmas be the one you can look back on and say: Then I got to see!
