For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5,6

The LORD Our Righteousness!

Who is among you that fears the LORD, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God. Isaiah 50:10

We can hear an admonition and a call at the believers; those who fear the Lord and hear His voice. When you walk in the darkness and no light is shining, you can still put your trust in the name of the Lord and trust in your God!
It is good when the word of the Lord is revealed to us like this.
After all the admonition is an encouragement to run to the Lord.
But still we have not seen this Gospel, which we have read about in this verse of Isaiah.
We will first notice that when the Spirit of the Lord casts light over it, then we will see that it primarily testifies about Jesus!
When He (Jesus) wandered in darkness and there was no light shining for Him (also He had to be tested in this), He put His trust in the name of the Lord and trusted His God. It is
this One you shall take your refuge in, He who fulfilled all righteousness for you. Matthew 3:15.
Is the light starting to dawn on you? It
is quite something to take your refuge in! It is quite something to hide in! This light, the light of the word, will bring you into a communion with God, and eternal life.
Paul speaks about the obedience of
faith, which is worked by the Gospel.
   There is only
one way you can become a Christian, and that is to have all your pardon, all forgiveness, all grace! There is only one way to get to love God, and that is the same way!
It was maybe not that way you naturally had in mind, but that is the Way!
