For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6

By the faith alone!

He who believes in the Son has eternal life. John 3:36

The one who does so and so, says the human being in its spiritual darkness, and so the one «prophet» after the other stands forth throughout the history, and has got the answer to exactly what you must do to be saved! Such is millions and millions of people led into the devils deceit and slavery.
No, the one who believes in the Son! - That is what the Scripture preaches.
Yes, but we have to believe at least! No, the Christian faith is not a deed which is rewarded with salvation, but a gift! (Eph. 2:8).
By faith in the Son, says the Word accordingly. But how does that comes to pass, if it is not by our effort and will!
What is it that causes that you get confidence and trust in a person? Is it just because you have decided to do so? No, of course not, anybody can see that clearly. It happens by that, that you associate with that person and gain experience. You have experienced that it is reliable, that it has different good qualities etc., and thrue that, confidence (faith) in that person springs up in you.
Such also in a persons relationship with Jesus, with the Word of God - it happens by the association. You read, you hear, and the Holy Spirit gives you knowledge by the Word you hear, and the experiences you do. It is Jesus Himself who gives you the confidence (faith). - He is the author of the faith! (Heb. 12:2). It is not something that you produces.
The faith has accordingly its origin in Jesus! And in Him we have the eternal life.
What a grace! - He will give us everything from A to Z. - Yes, everything is given us in Him! - God has given us His only begotten Son! (John 3:16).
Why wander away from Him then, when it is like a singer says: «Nobody needs to be lost?»
Many does - that is unfortunately true - but nobody needs to; that is true also!
Place yourself under the influence of the Word of God today, and you will see, and you shall be saved!
