For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6

Fear not!

Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation. Is. 12:3

«In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.» (Zech. 13:1).
Consider, the Lord Himself has opened a fountain to perfect purification for us! The apostle John describes it as a fountain to purification from all sin! (1 John 1:7).
Where a human being has stepped out into this fountain, there it is nothing left of what displeased God - all sin is gone!
To step out into this fountain, to come to Jesus, and similar expressions, will easily lead ones thought to a particular deed that we shall do, but the truth is, that this opened and cleaning fountain is coming to uss in the message about Jesus, the Son of God, He who loved us and gave Himself for us. That is where this fountain is, and where this is being received, it cleans a person before God.
There the mankind has relationship with God again, and can associate with Him without fear! There one has got part of everlasting beatitude again, and no condemnation is possible anymore! Yes, the prophet even says about the people who are allowed to live here, that «no resident will say, "I am sick"; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.» (Jes. 33:24).
Oh, if we could get our eyes anointed to see more of that glory which is given to us in the springs of salvation! Given to us in the blood that flowed on the cross of calvary! Then we too will be among those the prophet talks about here in the prophecy - those who
will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation! Yes, joyously!
it is not the meaning that we shall draw near to Him with fear and trembling, as if we were guilty, because «there is no fear in love; but perfect love (the love of God revealed to us in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ) casts out fear.»
And then he writes further about this, and we shall note this carefully: «- because fear involves punishment.» (1 John 4:18).
How is it possible to fear punishment, there where the sin is forgiven?
Fix your eyes on the springs of salvation today!
